At Dartmoor Dental, we're on a mission to keep kids healthy and out of Derriford. We already care for 3,000 wonderful children with our pediatric dental services and we always announce on our website and socials when we are able to accept more new patients aged 0-18 years who live locally to Tavistock. We believe that visiting the dentist should be a fun and stress-free experience so we even run dedicated children-only days in the school holidays.

    As part of our dental care for children, we aim to instill preventive measures like regular cleanings, fluoride treatments, and dental sealants to protect & prevent children’s teeth from decay and cavities.

    We help both children and parents learn about proper oral hygiene, including brushing, flossing, and a healthy diet, to build good dental habits from an early age.

  • Nervous Patients

    Visiting the dentist at a young age can be daunting, so we work hard to make it a positive comfortable experience at our pediatric dentists. We aim to remove any anxiety & help encourage regular check-ups so children grow up with dental hygiene being a healthy stress-free part of their lives.

  • Monitoring Development

    At our kids' dentists, we will keep track of the growth and development of a child’s teeth and jaws to ensure we can intervene if necessary to give the child proper alignment and oral health in the future.
